Raymond Templier (1891–1968) was a leading French jeweller of the Art Deco period. Born into a Parisian jewellery family, he joined the family firm in 1919 and became known for bold geometric designs inspired by Cubism, architecture and the modern world. His striking use of diamonds, platinum, gold and enamel helped define a new modernist approach to jewellery. In 1929 he co-founded the influential Union des Artistes Modernes.
